EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State University Board of Trustees today approved the sale of a Ludington property used in a previous study of fisheries in Lake Michigan. The board approved the sale of the .632-acre property for $86,000. The property was purchased by MSU in 1984 to conduct a study on the impact of the Ludington pump storage generating plant on the fisheries of Lake Michigan. The property is no longer being used and was authorized for sale last year.
