Kelly Tebay was elected to the Board of Trustees for an eight-year term starting Jan. 1, 2019. Tebay is the director of government and external relations at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. Her career began in professional fundraising for various state and federal political campaigns before she moved on to work in corporate relations for nonprofits and state and federal government agencies. Raised in Shelby Township and Yale, Michigan, Tebay is a graduate of Yale Public Schools. She enrolled at James Madison College at Michigan State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a specialization in Muslim studies. She later earned a master’s degree in law enforcement intelligence and analysis from MSU, with certificates in homeland security and critical thinking. In addition to serving on the board at MSU, Tebay serves on the board for Volunteers of America Michigan.
